Intelligent Scissors

This artifact shows a Cambodian temple with the guardians at the entrance being replaced by my kittens Tod & Copper. It is their job to protect the entrance. In the center is a couple on their honeymoon.

The center image shown with the contour and mask. This was then resized to be the correct size relative to the surroundings.
The left image shown with the contour and mask. Just one contour was made that was able to get the whole kitten including the area between the tale and body. Once the mask was created it was pasted over the original image so that just the kitten could be selected. This was then resized to be proportion to the existing statutes.
The right image shown with the contour and mask. The same procedure as the left image was used.
The original image used as the background. No masks were needed for this image since the kittens were just pasted over the existing statutes.
